TKW also offers a scaled down version of the full hour course, which is useful for practicing English teachers who already have some experience and an arena in which to practice their newly acquired skills. Typically, foreign English teachers who have travelled to South Africa to do our training or local teachers who are already working but want to give themselves a new perspective, opt for the 70 hour course.

This course can be completed in 2 weeks but does not include any live practical training. Participants still get some practice in the form of workshops with fellow trainees, but will not participate in the practical training.

This course can be upgraded to the full 120 hour certificate, at a later date, by enrolling in our volunteer teacher programme.
